What personally identifiable information does MasterTrade collect?

When entering competitions and/or completing surveys, MasterTrade requests some personal information for the purpose of reward delivery. Once this competition is complete, all personal information, like name, phone numbers, email addresses and postal addresses will be destroyed (subject to any legal record-keeping considerations) but we may maintain statistical information entered, although this information will no longer traceable to an individual.

From time to time, MasterTrade may collect additional personal and non-personal information about you if you contact our branches/offices or request information to be delivered to you. This information will be maintained and kept in the strictest confidence.

If you have subscribed to our mailing list, we may send you information via email about news or offers from us or our partners. This mailing list will never be sold, leased or distributed to any person or organisation outside of the authorised MasterTrade administrators.

When you are using MasterTrade, you may be able to access other sites that are beyond our control. For example, if you 'click' on a link or use our trade directory, the 'click' may take you off the MasterTrade site. MasterTrade is not responsible for any use of the information when using such 3rd party sites.

You may also be presented with links to other sites through emails that MasterTrade sends you. MasterTrade takes steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services, and you use these services at your own risk.

Please note that MasterTrade may use other facilities to process or back up its information which may be located outside of New Zealand. In order to effectively provide our members with our service, you acknowledge that MasterTrade may need to transfer and store personal information to our other facilities. However, this does not change any of our commitments to safeguard your privacy.
