Distribution Technology
Continually improving the speed of delivery is one of MasterTrade's key operational targets. This is accomplished through the use of the very latest distribution technology. With such a highly efficient computerised system, stock levels are accurately monitored to ensure that customers receive the product they need, without delay.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
MasterTrade is focused on streamlining administration systems and reducing paperwork through the use of EDI. The Company's high-level, in-house data processing skills ensure that successful and flexible systems are provided for customers and suppliers.
MasterTrade has also seen the need to make up-to-date product pricing available to customers for use in their own computer systems. MasterPrice, a software package developed by MasterTrade, and MasterPrice Plus, a highly evolved web-based version of this package with even more tools and features, enables customers to access MasterTrade's product database via the internet to download prices and price changes whenever they are required. In addition the customer may also download their MasterTrade invoices.

MasterTrade's team of sales specialists are based in the nationwide network of branches where they can best provide service to major commercial and heavy industries. The sales specialists all come from an industrial background, giving them the knowledge and practical experience to provide solutions to industrial problems. MasterTrade also has access to a wide range of international products for industrial applications through its exclusive agency lines and products from other New Zealand agents and distributors. This has focused MasterTrade's sales specialists on fulfilling customer requirements through innovative products, technological excellence and service commitment.

MasterTrade is the first national wholesaler to receive certification to ISO 9002:1994 across its national network of 50 branches and Head Office. This recognition as a Telarc "Registered Supplier" ensures that the internal procedures of the Company measure up against an international standard. To ensure that quality procedures and standards are maintained, MasterTrade branches are subject to review by internal audit on a regular basis.

Heating Design Service
Another of MasterTrade's key operational targets is to offer a complete service package to industry. As a result, MasterTrade has established its branches as "one-stop heating shops", to help customers choose the right heating products for the right situation.
